Do we include our dogs in our family photos? In our wedding photos? As someone who loves animals big and small (including having two dogs I adore dearly), I always highly suggest it! They are a part of your family!! I always suggest bringing an extra hand to hold their leash while we are doing photos without them, and to give them a break. If you are having difficulty finding someone, I have two sons who are as dog crazy as I am. They are very responsible and love helping! They were fantastic with young Rosie, (the yellow lab below). All three of them got their energy out and they all slept well that night, win-win! Of course we also captured MANY amazing photos with her and her sweet family as well. I also suggest bringing treats and even peanut butter for the super wild ones. Sometimes with a dab of PB on a cheek, we are able to capture at least one quick cute photo! Whenever someone asks if they can bring their pup, it's always an easy YES!
