COMMON QUESTIONS

What is your editing style?
My editing includes black and white, color, facial blemishes, hair, and anything else that would distract you from the final product. I do not wash out colors, I keep them vivid and bold. Additional editing services are available, 50$/hour.
How are the files delivered and how many can I expect?
Photos are delivered VIA gorgeous online galleries. You will receive a color and black and white copy of each image. On average you will receive 200 photos/hour.
What is the difference between high and low resolution?
Low-resolution images are for Internet use without copyright release. High-resolution images are large files for any printing and editing, copyright release included. Purchase options for albums, prints etc available within the online gallery. All online galleries include printing options. Online galleries are available for 180 days, please download and back up your files!
When can I expect the photos to be ready?
My turn around time for a photography session is a month to two months, weddings are three to four months during peak season (June-October). I am just as excited to get them back to you as you are to see them! This time frame could be shortened, season depending.

When is the payment due and what methods do you accept?
Payment of any photo session is due upon the date of the session and any products upon placing the order (example: album). A non-refundable deposit of half the package is due to reserve your date. I currently accept checks, PayPal, Venmo, Apple cash, or cash booked outside the link. The balance of any photo session package is due upon the end of photographing the session. The chosen package is non refundable once the session is photographed. Rebooking is an option (for sessions only) if weather is not acceptable beyond our control. Resolution upgrades available within a year of the session.
Do you have a travel fee?
Travel fee over one hour of driving 40$/hour added to all packages. Destination weddings, pricing varies on location.
Do you need a model release?
Yes, it's included upon reserving your date through the booking link. Booking a session means you give consent to a model release (I need a signed note from a parent if you are under 18 years of age). I would never sell your images. I would never share your images without your (or parental if applicable) consent.

Do you offer prints/canvas/albums?
Yes to all, they are available through the online gallery The album company I use is fantastic and everyone loves the result. The pages are lay flat and stain resistant. I do not recommend swimming with it, but they are still nice none the less. These are available in the online gallery.

What equipment do you use?
I photograph with a Canon 5D Mark IV and use multiple lenses. I have professional props (newborn), backdrops and lighting for in home sessions.
What should we wear?
See my style guide for what to wear and lots of tips! It's very in depth to help you optimize your photos. Location recommendations are available in my style guide as well.
Why an engagement session?
Not everyone is incredibly comfortable in front of the camera. This gives you the chance to get a feel for how I work, how I pose, and how it all works. That way, for your special day you are comfortable and confident!

Have you been published or do bridal shows?
Yes! You can also see my work in Lakes to Mountains Weddings, Lakes Region bride Magazine (including the 2024 cover). I also attend wedding shows at Church Landing in Meredith, The Margate in Gilford, Hobbs Brewery Restaurant in Ossipee, The Castle in the Clouds in Moultonborough, Purity Springs in Madison, Rosewood Landing in Madison, and Tamworth Distilling, throughout the year.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, to reserve your date a deposit is due for sessions and weddings (half of the agreed total of the package). A wedding contract is signed upon a package agreement. The wedding deposit is due at the time of signing a contract to reserve your date. The remainder is due before the session/wedding date.
